PERFECT TIMING: THE DELAY THAT SAVED ME

Have you ever begged God to hurry up?

Last year I was so desperate for "my turn". I applied for a job 14 times. 14 rejections. My friends were getting jobs, traveling, buying cars. Me? I was stuck, angry, and tired of hearing "God's timing is perfect".

I thought perfect timing was a lie people say to calm you down. I cried in my room, "God, are you even listening?" Every morning I checked my phone hoping for that "Congratulations" email. Nothing. Just silence.

  1. When I wanted speed, God gave me preparation

That job I lost? The company closed 6 months later. Everyone was laid off. If I had gotten it, I would have been jobless again with bills and no savings. God didn’t reject me. He protected me.

2: My personal delay: A missing script of mine Made me buckled up

For me, it was missing script. I feel sick and cried for 5 days. I felt like a failure watching my mates seeing their records. But in those 5 days I learned to use that period and read up for exams so i can pass up the missing mark . Today my exams result came out and i did so well covering up both exams scores and the missing script score.

3.When I wanted love, God gave me healing
I was pushing for a relationship because "I feel i should". Thank God it didn’t work. That break gave me time to heal from my past, forgive myself, and learn who I am. Now I know: a broken person can’t build a healthy home. Perfect timing meant I met me first before meeting "him". Love without healing is just two wounded people bleeding on each other.

  1. Perfect timing isn’t late. It’s exact.
Ecclesiastes 3:11 says "He makes all things beautiful in its time". Not our time. His time. Like a baby in the womb - 9 months, not 6, not 12. One day early = danger. One day late = danger. But on day 270? Perfect.

The wait feels like punishment, but it’s actually preparation. God isn’t making you wait because He forgot you. He’s making you ready because He loves you too much to give you what you asked for before you’re ready to handle it.

Today I look back and thank God for every "no", every delay, every closed door. They were redirects, not rejections. Every tear watered seeds I couldn’t see yet.

Your "late" is God’s "exact". The wait is not wasted. He’s building your character, your faith, your story while you wait. Don’t rush the process. Trust the timing.
