  Confession Time: I Am A Sinner

There was a season I thought I was “a good person”. I didn’t kill, I didn’t steal... so I was fine right? Wrong.

The truth hit me hard one night: Anger. Gossip. Pride. Doubt. Those were my silent sins. I was a sinner hiding behind “I’m not that bad”.

   The Turning Point: Forgiveness of Sin

Then I understood Romans 3:23. “ALL have sinned”. Not just armed robbers. Not just “bad people”. Me too. You too.

And the sweetest part? Romans 6:23 says “the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ”. God didn’t wait for me to become perfect. He forgave a sinner like me while I was still messy.

   3 Things Forgiveness Taught This Sinner:

1. Stop pretending– God already knows I’m a sinner. Honesty brings healing
2. Stop comparing – My sin vs your sin = same need for grace
3. Start receiving – 1 John 1:9: “If we confess, He is faithful to forgive”

Brethren, being a “new creature” doesn’t mean I stopped being a sinner. It means I stopped hiding it. I run to Jesus daily.
