Get ready with me for class 💙📚 A slow, intentional morning as a Nigerian student

Alarm goes off and my first decision of the day is choosing peace over panic. PJs still on, lights off, just me and my quiet room with the pink floral bedspread and emoji pillow 🛏️


First things first: oral care. Colgate + charcoal toothpaste + mouthwash for that 24/7 fresh breath. Small thing, but it sets the tone ✅
Then skincare - cleanse, moisturize, let my skin breathe before the lecture hall dust catches it.

Laid out my crisp blue shirt + black trousers. This shirt has seen me through presentations, tests, and random Tuesday classes. It’s my “I’ve got this” uniform.

Breakfast was simple: cornflakes + milk. No time for full cooking, but we don’t run on empty here 🥣

Braids neatly packed, light lip gloss, brow pencil for definition. Makeup doesn’t have to be loud to be effective ✨

Bag check: notebook, pen, water, gloss, phone. Final mirror check and I’m out the door.
