This Monday classes started at the university, and taking advantage of the fact that I had to go to Maracaibo for a meeting at my other job, I planned with the sections that I attend, to see each other in face-to-face classes.

I arrived exactly at the scheduled time, and the idea is not to waste a minute, because there are few face-to-face meetings during the semester, so I had to make the most of the time.

There were many students even though several told me that they could not attend due to work, however the majority was present.

It is an odyssey to get to the university headquarters, those who have read me know that I am assigned to another distant municipality to teach classes, and for this reason most of my activities are virtual.

This method is not working out as I expected, it is not the one I like the most, and even though we must adapt to new technologies, advances and more, there is a lack of tools and training.

Starting this week I will have a few hours assigned at the university headquarters in the municipality where I live, and with this opportunity I will take advantage of requesting a change for the new semester.

Students deserve a quality education, regardless of the situation, that teachers are constant in the classroom in the absence of technological tools, and this more than anything for new entrants, as time goes by the virtual method can be incorporated more, but now that they are starting they need more face-to-face attention.

Éste lunes comenzaron las clases en la universidad, y aprovechando que tenía que ir a Maracaibo para una reunión de mi otro trabajo, planifique con la secciones que atiendo, vernos en clases presenciales.

Llegué exactamente a la hora programada, y la idea es no perder ni un minuto, porque son pocos los encuentros presenciales durante el semestre, así qué, debía sacar el mayor provecho del tiempo.

Fueron muchos estudiantes a pesar de que varios me enviaron que no podrían asistir por trabajo, sin embargo la mayoria estaba presente.

Es una odisea llegar a la sede de la universidad, los que me han leído saben que estoy asignada a otro municipio distante para dar clases, y por ésta razón mayormente mis actividades son virtuales.

Éste método no está resultando como lo esperaba, no es el que más me gusta, y a pesar de que debemos adaptarnos a las nuevas tecnologías, avances y más, faltan herramientas y capacitación.

A partir de ésta semana tendré unas horas asignadas en la sede universitaria del municipio donde vivo, y con ésta oportunidad aprovecharé de solicitar cambio para el nuevo semestre.

Los estudiantes merecen una educación de calidad, independiente de la situación, que los profesores sean constantes en aula a falta de herramientas tecnologicas, y esto más que todo para los nuevos ingresos, con el pasar del tiempo se puede incorporar más el método virtual, pero ahora que van comenzando necesitan más atención presencial.
