It’s time to fly
For days I’ve been seeing, on a gate at the entrance to my house, what looked like butterfly cocoons. I saw caterpillars walking around there, and I had never witnessed this process up close. I refrained from scrubbing the gate — which is rather grimy — so as not to disturb them. And today, what joy, I found a butterfly (I think) that had just emerged from its cocoon.
What do the butterflies tell me? That everything is fine, that I am safe.
And what do I tell the butterflies? I stay here, faithful to my feelings... awaiting a miracle. 🦋✨
