Since 1995, the Internet has not been as Yahoo and 'Yahoo' in the world. US has taken over $ 448 million from Verizon for US technology company Oath.
After purchasing Oath Yahoo, the company's chief executive, Merissa Mayer, resigns from Yahoo.
In a courtesy message to Yahoo co-workers, Marisa Meyer wrote, "I am resigning by bringing changes to my post."
CNN reports that Verizon is creating a new digital media platform with Yahoo and AOL. The new company's name is 'Oath'. Verizon's goal is to use the Yahoo network to create online advertising companies like Facebook, Google.
The acquisition of Yahoo! was an end to an era of the popular Internet organization.
