This weekend was all about food. My weekend is Friday and Saturday, so today is first day of the week and back to work. A good weekend is always uplifting for the full week ahead. It was with my girl gang. We planned an afternoon lunch at one of the beach side cafe and the plan was not just limited to lunch, we also had plans for making a couple of reels. It is a fun moment and we enjoy doing it once in a while. Once a quarter we do this lunch and reel thing, which kind of goes on for the whole afternoon. It is our me time.

We finished all our house chores, especially my friends who have young kids so they have more responsibility to take care of before leaving. After reaching the restaurant the first thing was to order the food, because it was already 2 p.m. and we were all hungry. For me it's my first meal of the day because I do not have breakfast, so after 2 my hunger cramps go wild.

All of us are diet conscious as such, but for this one day we had decided to go on full cheat meal and eat whatever we wanted. Most of the dishes are loaded with carbs, I was feeling guilty but then I just shut down my guilt and enjoyed the meal. We ordered some drinks also, all non-alcoholic, because none of us enjoy much of alcohol. I went ahead with water, because this is one thing on which I do not want to cheat even if I desire. Most of the drinks have aerated drinks or canned juices so that's one complete no for me. There was only one fresh juice, orange, but I do not like it much, so I skipped the drinks part. The food made up for it.

This is a chilly based drink. One of my friend ordered, she had a couple of sips and then could not as it was very spicy. I would not want to try :-)

After all the drinks and the food, then it was photo session time. The good part of this cafe was it was not very crowded and they had an upper floor which was totally empty and we ladies captured it completely. We had all the space on the floor to ourselves, whatever madness we did, there was no one to look at us and no disturbance for anyone.

After the photos session then it was reel making time. We made 2 of them and they came out very well. Posted on Insta and immediately there were likes and comments pouring :-)

Our madness went on till almost 6:30 p.m. and after that we parted ways. It was a full fun afternoon with total madness, just letting ourselves go completely mad with no botheration of who will think what about us.
