Last evening I had a friend visiting from India, so me and hubby planned to take her out for a drink in th evening after spending the day at home. It always feels very good when someone visits from India, it feels like a home coming. Through the day with my friend we had loads of giggles and gossips and we laughed our hearts out. Later in the day, I wanted to show off the good part of my city, so then we decided to go to the beach side restaurant. The beaches of Oman are very beautiful, as I have mentioned in the past. In Mumbai this is something I miss, even though we have a long coastline but the beach is not as beautiful as here and the one next to my home is not very clean also.

Last to last week the weather had become pleasant and we thought the summer is almost coming to an end, but again in the last week suddenly the temperature has risen and it is hot even in the evening time as well. We first decided to sit outdoors, but after some time it was getting very sweaty so then we shifted indoors and by that time it had also got dark so it was ok. The real beauty of this place is to see in the day light only.

The sunset was just very normal, nothing great to admire but the view was surely to admire.

After our drinks we did go to the beach also, but that was much later in the evening.

The hotel property is amazing, it is an expensive stay here, but they have some day plans also, which are reasonable. I told hubby we could come here just for a day outing also.

As it got hot we settled indoors and enjoyed our drinks. It was happy hours so we had 50% discount on our drinks.

And some appetizers to go along. I like to try out different variety of cheese, so wherever there is an option I do try it out.

And a dish of calamari, which I do not relish much but my friend and hubby loves it.

It was a nice cozy sat evening, just the way I would like the weekend to wrap up.
