Since last week I have been thinking about replacing my television. The one I have is an LG one 50 inch, it's old now around 20 years, though there is no problem but it does not support any new features. The only thing that I watch on my television is Netflix and that too with a fire stick. Hubby has been saying since last couple of years but I am not feeling motivated to buy. I am only thinking is it really worth to spend money on a new television, which I am sure will be expensive.

I am not a fan of electronics and have never preferred spending too much money on it. Every time I think of buying then I feel I can rather buy something more useful like investing the same amount of money in gold or buy a piece of jewelry, which I would enjoy wearing. Last weekend when my friends came over, they too started pushing me to buy a new television, a bigger one which has all in-built apps. When I go their home, I see they have all fancy ones with sound bars and all. That time I feel motivated to buy. But when I actually think of buying then I feel, that the only thing I am going to watch is Netflix, so is it really worth spending so much money to watch one app, which I am conveniently watching right now on my current one without any hassle.

This is what happens with me most of the time, then I feel, am I a miser who is always pulling back. I don't know, may be I am. But I do not like to spend money on things that does not make much sense to me, also I do not like this habit of continuously spending. I would like to do shopping twice a year and buy only what is needed. Many times I go to the mall and return empty handed. I just go for window shopping, only if something catches my eye and I cannot resist then I buy.

Let's see, I will give it some more time to my current television, I am still in 2 minds and not able to decide if I should buy or not.
