Venice is one of the most romantic places in the world.

It is also very crowded, packed with thousands of visitors.

That is why we decided to spend more of our time in the backstreets away from the hordes of tourists.

The streets of Venice are like a winding maze. Once you find yourself into the back streets, you can decide which way to go next with every intersection and be amazed in where you end up. It could be a small ornate bridge over a canal or a little restaurant with sumptuous cappuccino.

Watching the sunset while on one of Venice’s large canals is a romantic way to watch the day end and night begin together.

And of course those overpriced beers. :D
