💺 Sit and watch them thorns 🌵

Consider this a guide for ≤ Gold league players

Mylor spam is not said for fun. That is Mylor Crowling's power of the thorns to weed out the melee opponents. Any melee attacks to monsters with thorns inflict 2 melee damage back to the host which deals great damage to low mana monsters. It's super annoying to deal with when they are used as tanks. But alas if all the monsters had thorns, pity those melee creeps! Mylor Crowling does exactly that and pose a nightmare to melee opponents, especially on a melee only ruleset!

Ruleset: Healed Out & Holy Protection | 21 🔮

Level 3 Kelya Frendul, okay I'll let you attack first. Leveled monsters, sure go ahead and hit with them melee. Fear not, for I've got... a level 1 Mylor Crowling! 😂

Figured out from opponent's recent battles that he has a strong melee water deck which I had little chance for victory had I used other strategies. So I'll just lay the tanky monsters and let the thorns do their work.

• Mylor Crowling summoner provides thorns for all friendly monsters.
• Furious Chicken fodder yet good for 1x thorn damage to enemy.
• Hill Giant the tankiest 3 mana I can find in my deck.
• Mycelic Infantry with shield lasts better against melee attacks, which in turn can deal more thorn damages.
• Halfling Alchemist tries to half the 1st position enemy's attack so my tanks can last longer.
• Stone Golem with shield at last position to full tank on sneak attacks. It has 1 melee damage only so it's better to let Stone Golem go off first from the heavy sneaks rather than Mycelic Infantry who has 3 damage.

Oh yes, and armor works very well with thorns too since the thorn applies on the armor too. Another reason why I liked the Halfling Alchemist.

By the time all attacking enemies died. I still had an untouched Mycelic Infantry to finish off the Kelp Initiate. Will the RNG aid the opponent and my monster had to die by fatigue?

Nah... Round 6 already determined the winner there since fatigue would've gotten to him first rather than my Mycelic Infantry who has 2 more HP. Besides, the game probably wanna cut him the bull**** by landing 2 straight hits right after. 😂

The enemies had impressive speed and attacks. But the melee attacks gotta be massive to take me out swiftly which is what they lack.
