The Job-Hopping Generation

I hear my peers intend to quit their jobs and switch to new fields that are different from their current professions. But the intention is the only intention. Most people are still hesitant and often stay with their current jobs or move to new places with similar jobs in higher positions or slightly higher incomes. They may not like it, but it's not easy to trade your current income for uncertainty. Overall, I also wanted to get attached to several previous workplaces, a couple of years, or longer. Yet some people still commented on us - a generation of young people who often change jobs.

But why don't we stick a certain job for a long time?

The first reason may be that you don't feel too attached to your current job. The people I met, they could be students or have been working for a while, most of them used to do more or have jobs that have good income compared to the primary spending. Therefore, money matters are not something to be considered too much. They can afford to manage life. Even if they had a job they thought were good, some of them enjoyed doing it, but deep down their hearts still felt unwell, they still wanted to step out of their current stability and safety. They know they can do more than that.

In retrospect, there were not many options, so it was easier and did not cost thousands of neurons to decide.

Nowadays, when choices are plentiful, everything looks good and promises. When we have so many options, we become more bewildered and stuck with the "what is right" question.
So now what to do?
To get the answer, we have to try early in many different fields, from which to know precisely. Skipping jobs is just a consequence.

Is it right to change jobs?

From a personal point of view, if you can see yourself clearly during environmental changes, the times you move around, you will realize your potential. Interpersonal relationships with the surrounding world gradually unravel. It can happen.

So now, instead of labeling the switching job with the most unpleasant words, people need to understand what it is, how it is, why it happened, and of course, stop mislabeling it. At the same time, what needs to be done is to create opportunities for young people to try more. So that they can understand more about themselves, devoting themselves to real passion. Companion with trust, support, and guidance is always much better than raising complaints and skepticism.
