Summer Fat Loss! - Learn my Secrets

Well it is that time again, the time of year when the weather begins to change and warm nice weather is just around the corner. This is exciting but can also be a cause of anxiety for some because they are out of shape or "fat"

I personally do not get anxious about being lean or fat, but I do have a certain body fat percentage that I like to be at for the summer or as I like to call it "shirtless weather" needless to say I am not anywhere near where i want to be in terms of my body fat, so that means I have to start now to lean out before summer hits.

I have decided to journal for the first time my process for getting into summer or beach readiness. I hope to blog about my progress and process daily, both to help motivate my self but also to help others and motivate others.

My Starting Point

My current weight is approximately 202lbs and body fat percentage is approximately 17%. I will update these in my daily logs, but I am not too worried about these numbers at the start.

Fat Loss Process
The main way by which I will drop fat is by doing intermittent fasting. I will be fasting for 16hrs per day and then fitting all my food intake into an 8hr feeding window. I do not plan to reduce my calories just shifting them to the confined 8hr window, this combined with my workouts and cardio will be enough to shed body fat without losing any significant muscle mass.

Meals
This I try and keep simple, because if I don't then I fail each and every time. I consume low carbohydrate meals and the carbohydrates I do consume at meals are natural and have no added sugars, so vegetables only basically:) plenty of healthy fats and plenty of protein.
