Recycling electronics
I have been sending old clothes, books and probably anything that is recyclable to this charity house for the disabled for the past several years.
Recently, I decided to clear two flatscreen TV sets as my little storage room is somewhat full. Both are not in good working condition but still usable as screen monitors. I sent messages to a handful of recycling centres including this charity house but received no response whatsoever.
Somewhat disappointing that nobody is willing to collect at the house. They ought to at least give me a reply. After a few days, I drop by the charity house to deposit some clothes and baskets. I talked to the manager about my TVs. He apologised but revealed that the person I sent the text to has passed away!
The manager assured me that he would look into the matter and true enough two very nice gentlemen came to my house early next morning and carted the TVs away.
