All starts with a clone!!
There are a variety of ways to start clones however, here’s a quick guide of one method I like to follow
You will need...
- A clean environment
- Veg light of your choice
- Sharp scissors or utility knife/blade
- Rooting gel
- Rockwell cubes
- Dome
- Plates/plastic Tupperware
- Healthy mom
Process:
- Pre-soak cubes in a light nutrient solution, I used CannaStart @ 6.2 ph
- Remove excess water from cubes and place in plate
- Choose branches that are newer, green growth that’s flexible. Cut at 45 degree angle and dip in gel for at least 20 seconds
- Clean every node & fan leaves off the bottom of the clone leaving just the top. You can then trim or remove a little bit of the fan leaves as seen in the pic above.
- Place clones securely in cubes limiting air exposure to the root site.
- Mist and place clones in Tupperware
- Add water to bottom of dome tray and add Tupperware to the dome creating a double dome effect creating ample moisture.
- Place under light in 20-25 Celsius for 7-15 days and voila roots!!
