btc dgital gold?

i know this will be un popular with some but maybe i missed it , but satoshi wanted bitcoin to be peer to peer payment right, this is classic monetary mission creep, because it does not work as a payment we are being force fed that its digital gold, say what you want about the altcoins but they are nowhere near as decentralised as Bitcoin, so because of this we are being lead down a path of increasingly centralised digital assets just beacuse there gains to be made . yeh i know theres all this stuff about bitcoins gonna get cheaper and faster one day just like one day the USA will get out of iraq and afghanistan and other places, bottom line is these innovations lead to certain vested intersets, the 1% ( the irony) of the bitcoin world losing out so it wont happen there will just be endless forks
