The Footprints of Age
I had walked for miles and was completely exhausted, so I went to a small store to get a cold drink.
There I saw him-sitting quietly on the floor, just watching the world go by It seemed to be his daughter's store, and when I asked if I could take a photo, he smiled faintly and nodded once in the photo
you can clearly see the traces of the years on his face
He has lost his teeth, and his working hours are probably over His life now just consists of sitting quietly and watching people pass by
His daughter was nearby, playing around with her Smartphone and hardly seemed to notice me in the store.
As I left the store, I suddenly asked myself: Will I one day be so quiet?
No, probably not. I guess I'll spend my life chained to a Computer, but I couldn't get it out of my head.
What do you think of his facial expression?
