I'm a Chefs when Evening comes, here is my dish for tonight.

I am a chef in home every evening. Filipino's are known creative in cooking different kinds of foods. The only vegetables left in our fridge was Chayote. So, I decided to cook the chayote to be our viand as our dinner. I learned cooking from my mother. I always watch how my mother cook, but she didn't teach me how to cook. By just watching her cooking then I can cook by myself also.

It's 6PM in the evening here in the Philippines and I'm thinking what viand good to cook for tonight. So I find vegetables left in our fridge and I found chayote and baguio beans. I just found out that the baguio beans are perishing so I can't include it in my dish. But, it's not a problem because I can still cook without that vegetables.

Before, I peel and prepare the ingredients, I need to cook rice first. I transfer the left over rice in a plate and clean the cauldron. I put one and half cup of rice inside and cook it. While waiting for it to cook, I prepare the ingredients.

I peel the chayote and slice it into small sizes, also I clean it first. I remove those hard parts of the chayote, as well as the seed of it. After chayote was prepared I wash it by flowing water in the faucet. The next I clean is the spices, I remove the the skin and those unnecessary things. I wash the spices and chop it into pieces.
After a few minutes the rice was cooked. So, I moved the cauldron and put the pan and heat.

Here's the video procedure on how I cooked the Chayote Dish.
