CTU's 15th Founding Anniversary 🎊🎉

As we celebrate this wonderful event, we embrace the rich culture and traditions, showcasing a vibrant array of diverse festivals.

Festivals are an integral part of Filipino culture. We celebrate these events to honor our cultural identity and heritage, which contribute to a strong sense of pride in our traditions.

This event was chosen as a tribute to CTU's 15th Founding Anniversary. Technologists are excited and looking forward to this celebration. After the intense competitions during the Intramurals, students eagerly showcased their enthusiasm for festivals. It was clear that they were talented and creative in presenting the diverse festivals, which truly captured the hearts of the students and the judges.

The dedication to their practice was evident in their performances. They gave their best effort to bring each festival to life. During practice, everyone displayed their potential in dancing, proving they deserved to be chosen.

They didn’t waste time, continuously practicing to improve their moves. Even under the scorching heat of the sun, they persisted, never showing signs of boredom or dissatisfaction. They kept smiling, enjoying every moment of the dance, embracing the heat with enthusiasm.

There were twelve contingents, each representing a unique festival. Some of these festivals include the Pintados Festival, Masskara, Isda, Lansones, Pahiyas, Sinulog, Minuluan, Haladaya, Humba, and more.

Each festival had distinct dance steps and glittering costumes. Every group was determined to win. While the event was a tribute, it also served as a competition to determine which performance portrayed its festival most beautifully. The winner would receive a cash prize.

Because of this, the students gave their best, even practicing late into the night. As the showdown began, all eyes were on the contingents.

We were amazed by their synchronized movements, perfect placements, and flawless execution. Their performances even made our team nervous due to their excellence. In the end, we performed well, giving our full effort, regardless of whether we won.

The most important thing was that we enjoyed the experience, felt satisfied, and created a memorable performance in celebration of CTU's anniversary.
