To Future and Current Parents: Hitting is not a resolve to Discipline!
Yo, Hivers! I'm Kei as in 🔑 and I am here to convince and spread awareness to future parents why they SHOULD NOT resolve to hitting their children as a way of disciplining them.
Violence does not make children understand what they have done wrong.
Therefore, I will be discussing in the video 3 main reasons why parents shouldn’t hit their children as a disciplinary measure.
- Hitting your children may temporarily stop their bad behavior, but it will cause them trauma.
- Children may take hitting as a correct way of expressing anger and disappointment by doing it when expressing themselves.
- Hitting your children may stain your parent-child relationship by having a huge distance between your bonds.
Aside from those reasons, I will also be discussing in the video an alternative way of disciplining your child.
I hope that after you have watched the video, I have convinced you in some ways and spread awareness why parents SHOULD NOT resolve to hitting their children as a disciplinary measure.
