My SPS validator node is located in the Netherlands in a TIER 3 data center.

Hardware: 4 CPUs, 8 GB of RAM, 80 GB NVMe SSD

For the time being, these resources should be more than enough. But as soon as I feel that I need to increase some of the resources, I can do it very quickly.

I have launched the Validator on my other account "veritasvav". This was done deliberately to separate the validator account and the game account. The validator account has 5000 staked Hive (HP), this should be enough for the validator to work fully, but if suddenly (I'll be very surprised) this is not enough, then I will buy and stake more Hive.

Who am I?

I have been programming since 2007. I have been in crypto for over 10 years. I have been in Splinterlands for a little over 6 years (since January 2019), since the time when there was no Splinterlands, but there were Steem Monsters. When the game was on a different blockchain (Yeah, those were the days). I got "Monster Maverick" status during BETA. I was one of the biggest solo buyers of UNTAMED packs (I bought at least 26,410 UNTAMED packs directly from the splinterlands store, which is about 2% of the total number of UNTAMED packs). Then I bought thousands of CL packs (five digits). I also bought 30 Splinterlands licenses from the primary market (not HE).

Why I'm interested in starting my own validator

Currently, I have in the game:

1. Almost 4kk staked SPS (rank: #27), which I don't plan to unstake for a very long time.
2. 16kk Collection Power in total on several accounts (rank: #58)
3. 2 full land tracts (200 plots), on which workers work 24/7.
4. 30 Validator Licenses, which will be staked on my personal node.
5. A lot of other stuff, including totems, packs, titles.

From my assets, I think it's clear that I'm very interested in the success of Splinterlands. And not just in words, but I put my money on it. Of course, not like Vugtis, but still...

I also really believe in decentralization. I really do. That's why I run my own node, and don't stake my licenses through a third-party service. Although I think that launching such a service is cool, for which I respect @peakmonsters.

I've been playing Splinterlands almost every day for 6 years now, and in all brawls (I missed 2) for my guild Knights of Praetoria.
