This is my entry to today's Monomad Challenge. I'm running out of photos.
Today I will show you the last photographs I have left from my walking trips. I need to give myself time to go out again and enjoy those moments connecting with nature and myself. Even though I didn't want to take pictures of ducks, here are a couple that I took because I thought they would be a challenge.
By the way, it's 32 degrees Celsius, which is almost 90 degrees Fahrenheit. I'm sweating like a pig, but I'm determined to write this post, haha. Once I'm done writing, I'm going to take a shower so I can rest for a few minutes before I have to go to work again. I hope I have time to go out and take some pictures tomorrow.
While I was sitting there waiting for something interesting to happen in front of my eyes, I got distracted looking at my cell phone. Damn Facebook hooked me, and I almost missed the opportunity to take this photograph. To be honest, I initially edited it in color, but I'll leave you wondering what it looks like. It was a cloudy day with an interesting mood.
Then I kept walking, and since I wouldn't be able to get close enough to this person to take a better photo, I just pointed and shot.
And then we got to the ducks. It was a real challenge to take the photo because of the contrast between the white ducks and the black duck, you know what I mean. I decided to focus on just one and not all of them, so I focused selectively, and this was the result. To be honest, I really liked it.
Then, while I was talking to someone, the ducks decided to go into the water to do their duck things. I tried to take a photo including all five ducks, but the black one had stage fright and swam faster than the others.
At the end of the walk, I waited for this duck to be joined by others. I like the scene, but I would have liked it even more if there had been more ducks in the background to give the image more depth. Even so, I think it was worth taking the photo. I wanted to wait longer, but it looked like it was going to rain, so I had to leave, and that were the end of the day.
