Powered Up 51k+ Hive Today 6th August 2026

Today was a very special day for me on Hive. Thanks to the low hive price 0.0417 I was able to swap some HBD into Hive.

My first 100% vote went to a brand new member of Hive on her introduction post. @kath017 she is well worth reading.

I've got to tell you. It felt great to give that first 100% vote to a new member.

I've been on Hive for over 9 years and have made this investment of my HBD into Hive as I see a bright future for us on the block chain.

There are very few places left online where we have true freedom of speech and expression and that alone is worth preserving. Censorship free.

Over the years I have earned HBD from blogging but also bought HBD for Hive on the internal market.

Today this was my process for powering up. First I put in a swap HBD for hive on the internal market.

When it cleared 3 days later I powered it all up.
It's that simple.

My staked Hive went from 10k+ to 62k+ yay!

Of course just dishing out votes willy nilly is not the way to carry on. If you vote on a post it helps to leave a comment suggesting why you left a vote.

What did you find interesting about the post or person. Comments are often helpful to us all as we can learn from them. What topics or content resonates with people.

In a world filled with bots it seems that people are desperately looking for humans to interact with.

I have and do use #hivevote especially when I wasn't posting for a while. Although I wasn't blogging I still left comments on posts and manually curated almost daily.

It allowed me to continue supporting hiviens that I knew were good people who have our platforms best interests at heart.
