Benzema is missing from Real Madrid
Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema will undergo surgery on his broken wrist in Real Betis.
The Spanish newspaper Marca said the Frenchman wanted to play on Saturday against Sevilla in the league, but now he will be out of the team for two weeks because of the operation.
Real Madrid have been out of action, with Mariano Diaz away from injury, as well as winger Gareth Bell, who also suffers from injury.
Cristiano Gonzalez, the Castilla player, is expected to be with the first team in future matches until the return of the strikers.
