Wedding Portrait
Another portrait in Acrylics done from a photo and of course is dated in the hair and dress, but they wanted a portrait of their wedding after years of marriage .
As in the man portraits previous these were don in acrylic over a pencil drawing from a photo. Clear glaze with color to colorize the pencil drawing and in some cases Like his suit, there are several layers of different colors to produce the grey tones.
I was so into the use of Glazing done by an Artist of Maxfield Parrish using oil glazing similar to the techniques I use. But in Maxfield, he used a foundation of a monochrome painting, I want to start mine with the pencil and yes and inhancement of a monochrome to strengthen the drawing in pencil to give some undertone of color.
