॥বিশ্বজীৎ বণিক ॥
মুখে বলো তোমরা স্বাধীনতা
সত্যি কি তা পেয়েছে ভারতবর্ষ ।
তবে কেন কাঁদে প্রতিরাতে
অসহায় নারী --
কেন আজও গ্রাম গুলিতে দারিদ্র্য হানা
দুমুঠো অন্ন জোটেনা মানুষগুলোর মুখে ।
কেন আজও চাকরির অভাবে
হতাশ বেকার যুবক ।
এদেশে ঘুষটাই বড়ো কথা,
কেন পয়সার অভাবে ধুকছে প্রান,
চিকিৎসা করেনা ডাক্তার ॥
কেন ছোট ছোট ছেলে মেয়ে
শৈশব জলাঞ্জলি দিয়ে
রোজগারে পথে নামছে?
আজও কৃতদাস অনেক মানুষ
কেন বলতে পারো??
তবে কি করে স্বাধীন ভারতবর্ষ??

Say you have freedom
Is it really India?
But why do you cry every night?
Helpless women -
Why do poverty attacks in villages today even today?
Dumutha food jotena people face.
Why the lack of job still today
Frustrated unemployed young man
Bribes are big in this country,
Why is the loss of money due to lack of money,
Medical doctor
Why little boy boy
With childhood junking
Earning income on the way?
Many people are still slaves
Why can not i say
But how is independent India?
