Mi reflejo en el espejo me susurra al oído
Muy suave y tiernamente que pasaron los años
Me acaricia el cenizo cabello entristecido
Que anuncia mi vejez en un tono nostálgico

Llegan a mi memoria bandadas de recuerdos
Que alimentan mi espíritu y mi alma fortalecen
Como para atenuar lo que veo en el espejo
La imagen de un hombre cansado, triste, viejo
Pero en la vida no todo es lo que parece
Y tal vez lo que veo sea como me siento
