Floating Ice
source:clickhereYour Shot photographer Kelly King knows that icebergs near Alaksa do something strange. The part underwater melts faster than the part sticking into the air, and as a result, the iceberg eventually flips itself over, revealing smooth, glass-like ice. Seabirds like kittiwakes perch on the ice to look for food. Kelly took this image not at night, but in the late morning.
