Fanart of Gaint Alpine Skink

Hey everyone. I hope you all are doing well. This is me Moaz. And if you know me than you can imagine that how after long time I am here in Hive account@splinterlands this community is one of my favorite community because of it's unique characters. I have tried a lot of characters and cards. This time I make a horrible Diana sour looking character. It's name is Giant Alpine Skink. I simply draw it and filled it with colors. Do it was looking so cool at the end of results. Stay tuned till end.

Here first of all, I opened my sketchbook and I wondered for the first look. Many beautiful drawings which have been made by me were welcoming me. Well I take a look on my previous characters and then start the new one. To continue I start from its head. Some people start from the bottom but I guess it is some how difficult for me. So I always started from top side. It's mouth was opened. So here is that.

After it's opened mouth I moved to it's body. But first I draw it's neck. It's neck was not prominent. It has a slim body. The body with a simplicity but complex cuts. And therefore I give it some time. As I was making it after a long time so some how it was some challenging. I also draw it's hands. It's arms, it's muscle 💪 and then it's hands with long nails. Infact horrible nails.

In the 3rd and last step of drawing I completed its whole sketch. Here I draw it's whole body. I don't made its bottom part. I only make it to it's belly. It's arms were in a vertical posture. I also added some details. Details like eyes 🫩 nostrils, some cuts on it's body. Also I draw it's teeth. It's teeth were not horrible as I have made before. But still dangerous. So after that I draw it's tounge and the filled it's opened mouth.

Now I was moving to the steps of coloring. I started with the yellow color. It's yellow 🟡 shade was in its face upper side. And then it's arms and then it's hands. It was not in yellow color because it was in dark yellowish with some orange shade. But I made it yellow. Pure yellow color.

Now I moved to the details on the yellow color. I used light brown color. I filled with brown color on its shoulders. It's shoulders were not so broad. Also there was a beautiful pattern on it's body. So I try to made the same but here are the results.

Now I used some extra colors to filled it's details. Like I used pink color to filled it's tounge. And then I used black color to filled it inner mouth where I can see only shades. Then I used black color in it's back teeth to create shadow. Red color in it's jaws. And now I was finding what was left. Then I saw the nails Wich I filled with black color.

Now I used grey color. As we have rarely grey color in pencil colors. So I used black color with polite hands to give it's greyish look. And here it was done. So then I used black pointer to give it's a final look and outline.
