snowy woods walk.

I put on my snow gear & went for a snowy #wednesdaywalk with my family — my brother, my cousin, and my uncle. Walking through the snow was a serious work out, but it helped to clear my head a bit and I appreciate that.

For some reason, snow brings me joy. It’s so magical and transforms ones surroundings so completely it’s as if you’ve traveled to a made up land. I always think of Narnia when I’m in the snowy woods.

With my mom being sick, I haven’t been able to leave and go skiing as much as I’ve wanted too. In fact, I haven’t gone this season at all.. but Mother Nature brought some of that winter beauty to my sandy home and I feel lucky to get to enjoy the beauty with my family.
