Children Changed Us Without Knowing.
Children has a quiet way of changing us without even realizing it. Before now I thought patience was just simply waiting something to come or happen, but as someone that teaches children, they made me to realize that patience is being able to answer to same question twenty times ๐ with smiles and gentleness.,
I once thought that love was something I understood, until a tiny hand reached out to me, and suddenly, love becomes staying awake through the nights, worrying over fever and celebrating smallest wins.
Children don't wake up and start thinking about how to change us, but somehow they do. They don't sit down to teach us but they quietly transform us to become more patient, caring and notice the things we've long ignored.
Children softens the heart and make us t apologize when we're wrong, laugh when life feels serious and see the world through their curious eyes. Children has a way of softening the part of us that life has made hard.
Perhaps, the greatest gift children give is , They don't just grow under our care, rather, we grow under theirs.
One thing I appreciate about them is how honest they are. A child doesn't pretend, if they are sad, they show it, when they are happy, they also show it, and when they are curious, they will ask numerous questions. Children helps adults that have lost that kind of honesty to regain it back.
The funny part is they would probably never know the impact they have made on us. The truth is, as parents raise children, children also raises parents.
That's maybe one of the world's greatest surprises, the smallest people often leave the biggest mark in our hearts even without realizing they did. I don't know for others, but personally as a teacher that is always around children, they have really changed a lot about me.
