Treditional music - Uttrakhandi folk

Hello all friends, today I am going to share my thoughts on a topic which is an important part of my life. Which is music. In this world full of chaos and stress, it is only music which gives me joy. I am sure that most of you will agree with me on this point.

Music is not only a sweet music but a kind of therapy which can relieve you from stress.

I still remember when I was going through such a phase in my life in which I always felt that I might go into depression at any moment. Then it was music that helped me a lot in calming my mind.

I am interested in all kinds of music. Which includes pop song, hip hop, classical, folk music, disco etc. But the one I like the most is Uttarakhand folk music.It makes me feel connected to my soil.

My one aim of writing this blog is to share my culture with all of you. I hope you will like it.

Some of my favourite singers are Narendra Singh Negi, Gopal Bapu Goswami, Meena Rana, Girish Tiwari and Mohan Upreti.

******Instrument******

Dhol, dama, hurka, flute and turturi are some instruments that enhance the beauty of Uttarakhandi traditional songs.

******Dance******

Choliya dance, jhora, jagar, chapali, ramola and pandav nritya are some dance forms that you will find in Uttarakhand to watch.
