Hive Open mic Week 317 | Cover "Cómo te pago"

Un cordial saludo a toda la comunidad de Hive, bienvenidos a este espacio musical. Me alegra estar de vuelta con ustedes una semana más para seguir compartiendo mis experiencias y pensamientos sobre la vida y la música.

Para esta semana escogí una canción que tengo poco de haberla escuchado, mi esposo me la recomendó y pensé que para esta ocasión me va como anillo al dedo. Esta fecha dónde celebramos el día de la madre será agridulce para mí, les cuento que tengo 33 años y esta será la primera vez que no pase este día con mi mamá, ella emigró a Argentina con mis hermanos y la verdad trato de no pensar mucho en el tema para no hundirme en tristeza, por otra parte tengo la dicha de celebrar que Dios me ha regalado un hijo hermoso.

Para mí fué difícil practicar esta canción sin que se me quebrara la voz pensando en su letra, definitivamente no tengo manera en cómo retribuir a mi madre todo lo que ha hecho por mi, es una mujer a la que admiro con todo mi corazón y ruego por volver abrazarla y verla una vez más.

A warm greeting to the entire Hive community, welcome to this musical space. I am happy to be back with you for another week to continue sharing my experiences and thoughts on life and music.

For this week, I chose a song I just recently heard; my husband recommended it to me, and I thought it would be perfect for this occasion. This Mother’s Day will be bittersweet for me. I’m 33 years old, and this will be the first time I won’t be spending the day with my mom—she moved to Argentina with my siblings. To be honest, I try not to think about it too much so I don’t get too sad. On the other hand, I’m blessed to celebrate the fact that God has given me a beautiful son.

It was hard for me to practice this song without my voice breaking as I thought about the lyrics. I truly have no way to repay my mother for everything she’s done for me. She’s a woman I admire with all my heart, and I pray to be able to hug her and see her one more time.
