Splinterlands Art Contest Week 360

Hello everybody.
It’s been a very long time!
I had to check and the date of my last post says it had been more than two months that I wasn’t active due to some things that unexpectedly happened to me. I can’t believe it because this two months has been very hard that it felt more than a year honestly! Without creation of time, we would have been lost because the speed of the events in our head feel very different!

Now that I am back I see that a lot has changed. We have got some new rules like writing more than 600 words. I am not a very talkative person so I think I should share more about art and say how the process goes. I usually said it in short sentences like see everyone I have made this painting of this little version of this character. And asked your opinion about it. I am shy and very expert in making art but I should start to be open.

I have some screen shots from the Splinterlands website that all of the cards in Splinterlands are there. I have screen shots of some of the cards so that I can draw them when possible. To make this week entry I had to choose between the xia seachan card and spirit shaman card ! Yes I know that they are not looking even close. But I loved this two cards. Xia seachan has a cool outfit that I liked. Xia seachan is like a human and creature but more like a creature.

In my previous painting I always made the cute and little side of the characters in the cards. A kid version of them. Because this is my first entry after a very long time I thought about making something different and more older version of this xia seachan. To make them look older than a child I had to make the eyes less bigger. Because when we draw a cute kid we should make the eyes bigger like the whole of the face is only eye and only a small mouth. I drew less big eyes and bigger mouth. Now it had more balance. I will draw the kid version later because I personally like it. It is something that we don’t see in the cards. I have seen all of the Splinterlands cards until now and if I am not wrong there was only one card that featured a kid. I don’t remember the name if you remember please comment it for me so I can find it again. It was a little boy with a crown like he is a king. Oh yes I was saying that seeing the kid paintings of the characters might be fun and I think no one has done this yet.

It’s not a human nor a creature. But I wanted to make a cute painting of her. I made a semi human painting of her. For my very first step I made the outline with a red ink on an orange canvas. Then I made the base color. I made her hair in a different style from her and when I made her hair daker I thought that this mix of the dark hair and her eyes can be really scary and I am amazed how I could make her look cute. But I wish I could make scary painting but I am too afraid to do that. I get scared that easily. I made her hairy shiny and added this shine on her dress too. I made a cute and princess like dress that could make her look more cute.
