The Problem With Crypto Influencers
https://x.com/intocryptoverse/status/1812711956056273225
The same dude that was talking about lengthening cycles last time around is now entertaining shortening cycles.
I don't understand why people always have to overcomplicate things. It's best to assume the 4 year cycle (2013,2017,2021,2025,etc.) will remain in place until it doesn't.
If this cycle was shorter we would already be seeing altcoins starting to pump. That's a hallmark that a top is near, altcoins outperforming bitcoin and making new all-time highs. We aren't anywhere near that.
The problem with influencers is that they have to pump out content, and stating the obvious would mean making 1 video and then calling it a day. But when you're expected to make a new video every other day, you start making "what if" content because that's the only thing you can do.
It's the same reason day trading is a terrible idea. Instead of making a trade when and if you think it's actually a good idea, you force yourself to trade even if the best thing to do is nothing. Instead of making a video when and if you think it's actually a good idea, you force yourself to make a video even if there's nothing to talk about. We'll in the end we all might have different strategies which works for us.
