Strange plane. Aero2 - eVTOL
Swiss startup Dufour Aerospace in cooperation with Connova AG (specialist in composite materials for aviation) are preparing serial production... hmm... Half plane, half drone. As you can see in the pictures, the unmanned Aero2 has a rotating wing, so it is capable of vertical take-off like a drone and gliding like an airplane. The motors powering this eVTOL are electric, the range is about 400 km, but the manufacturer also announces a hybrid version to increase the range. In the first phase, only 4 units will be produced, but in response to market interest, the company announces an increase in production.
