Traditional Coloring Methods
Been a long long time since I last posted here. Thought I'd start building up a social media presence by creating accounts on traditional social media sites like X, Facebook/Instagram/Threads, etc... but if I'm going to do that figured I should also post here too! At least I will like one of the platforms I post on this way. 😅
Why post at all? I decided to start really trying to build a comic book centered fantasy world. I've had ideas in my head for years, even the game I was trying to build a long time ago here was set in this world. I have hundreds of pages of lore, characters, stories, etc...
I plan to do the art fully traditional. So I have been experimenting with coloring. Watercolor Pencil. Colored Pencil. Acrylic Markers. Not sure if I will color everything or just covers. 🤔
What do you think?
This is Eddy who is kind of the face of my first story, maybe the main character of the world. Though it is hard to say that since there are so many characters and stories to come.
I have been learning a lot recently, not just about art but things like comic book printing at home so I can self print. Also sculpting in Blender and 3D printing. I would like to create statues of my characters one day. Hopefully eventually I will have a solid ongoing release schedule for the comic book and a bunch of self made merchandise. Maybe build up a little community. I can dream right? 🤣
