Kyle Rayner Convention Sketch by Darryl Banks

I showed a cool Songbird sketch a while back from Nate Lovett. Thought it'd be cool to show another sketch but from another person I see a lot at the local conventions.

The first time I saw Darryl Banks at a convention was back in 2016. Very cool guy. I've talked to him a few times since then. Always nice and willing to talk comics. Of course the first commission HAD to be Kyle Rayner! My favorite Green Lantern and a character he co-created. I know he's a great artist but I was expecting a rushed quick sketch. Instead I was surprised by this piece of absolute awesomeness. Definitely one of my favorite collectibles.

I have one other convention sketch by Darryl Banks I'll probably show off later too. But kind of hoping when the local cons start back up I can catch him again. Not real sure what I'll ask him to draw yet. But I'd love to add another to my collection.

I was thinking of Iron Man. Since he is my favorite character and I would love to see a Banks version in my collection. But if anyone has suggestions feel free to comment!

Darryl was also cool enough to autograph a book for me. Even though I have the first appearance of Kyle I chose to go with the first cover and him actually becoming a Green Lantern. Super cool.
