A tide

"There is a tide in the affairs of men, Which taken at the flood, leads on the fortune" I've always loved this quote because what I've always come away with was that we all have choices to make in life. That's what this quote alway made me think of the decision to take a risk or play it safe. The choice of whether to wild and impulsive or sensible and rash the choices we make sometimes in life are not easy. I would like to believe that when we make decisions in life their is some great weighing of options and we are clear-minded when we make a choice more often than not but that is not the case. Our emotions can sometimes get the best of us and we base certain decisions we make off of feelings rather than rational thought. But that is the beauty of this quote it gives you can take from it what you will- TMR
