Winter sunset - Love The Clouds' Contest #210

Hi, this is my last post on clouds for this year, and to be honest also my first cloud post in 2024 😉 And since it's not two without three, it's also my very first cloud post in the #LoveTheClouds community 😊

These photos were taken a few days ago when my family and I went for an afternoon trip to a nearby village. The sun was just setting and the clouds rolling across the sky created a magnificent scenery.

I didn't resist, so I grabbed my camera and pressed the shutter button to immortalise the beautiful shades of colour of the sunset, which flowed from deep blue at the top to orange-yellow at the horizon, adding dynamism to the whole scene. The silhouettes of the leafless trees are visible in the foreground, further emphasising the winter season. In the distance, low hills complete the composition.

It was even more beautiful in person, as the other senses were working in addition to sight. I could feel the wind on my face, listen to the sounds of nature and smell the winter. A really ideal combination for recharging before the last working days of the year.
