CROBOTIKA: Waking the Robots in Zagreb’s Electro Underground
There are moments in the underground that don’t feel planned.
They feel… activated.
A few months ago, I was deep in one of those late conversations with Grow — the kind where music stops being just sound and starts becoming direction. We talked about electro, about scenes that are still alive beneath the surface, and about places that are ready for something real.
Somewhere in between, the idea came up naturally: bring him to Croatia.
It wasn’t a pitch. It wasn’t business.
It was instinct.
And then he said something that stuck with me. He is close with the Crobot Crew (N-ter & Xed). Not in a superficial way, but in that raw, underground sense where connections are built over years of shared frequencies, not algorithms.
That moment stayed with me.
We even locked a date.
But reality always tests ideas.
Grow couldn’t make it to Zagreb in the end work got in the way. And honestly, that’s usually the point where most things quietly die. Plans fade, energy disappears, people move on.
This didn’t.
Instead, something else happened.
Together with XED and N-TER from Crobot Crew (Crobot Muzik), we decided to push forward anyway. No fallback. No watered down version. Just a different form of the same energy.
And somewhere in that process, it felt like I woke something up.
Like the robots, Crobots were just waiting for a signal.
That signal became CROBOTIKA.
On May 15th, at club Dva Osam on Zagreb, that idea finally takes physical form. Not as a replacement, but as a continuation. Maybe even something more honest - because now it’s purely driven by the people who are already inside the movement.
Lineup: XED / LABUD / N-TER.
Electro in its raw state, precise, and unapologetically real.
What I’ve been noticing lately is that Zagreb has layers. On the surface, it can feel predictable. But underneath, there’s a pulse. Small, consistent, and growing. The kind of pulse that doesn’t need approval, it just needs the right moment to surface.
This feels like one of those moments.
For me, this isn’t just another event.
It’s a continuation of a conversation.
A shift from idea to reality.
A reminder that underground culture doesn’t wait for perfect conditions - it moves anyway.
If you understand electro, you already know what this means.
If you don’t, maybe this is where it starts.
Either way, the signal is out.
