The nature here

I have mentioned on other occasions how part of my routine is to grab a cup of coffee and go out to the backyard to think a little about my day, even before it begins. But it has become more than that: it is a moment when I enjoy this piece of nature that lives here at home. The plants grown by my girlfriend help me in this morning meditation process.

Spring arrived here a week ago, and it's clear how some plants have begun to show their beauty. It seems like they are waking up from hibernation, stretching in pure delicacy and giving me a reason to put my phone, messages, and social media aside—at least for a while.

These photos were taken this morning while I was having my coffee. It's nice to have a little nature around. It's been good for me.

Eu já mencionei em outras ocasiões como faz parte da minha rotina pegar uma xícara de café e ir para o quintal pensar um pouco no meu dia, antes mesmo dele começar. Mas acabou se tornando mais do que isso: é um momento em que desfruto desse pedaço de natureza que vive aqui em casa. As plantas cultivadas pela minha namorada me ajudam nesse processo de meditação matinal.

A primavera chegou por aqui já faz uma semana, e é nítido como algumas plantas começaram a mostrar sua beleza. Parece que estão despertando de uma hibernação, se espreguiçando em pura delicadeza e me oferecendo um motivo para deixar o celular, as mensagens e as redes sociais de lado — pelo menos por um tempo.

Essas fotos foram tiradas hoje de manhã, enquanto tomava meu café. É bom ter um pouco de natureza por perto. Isso tem me feito bem.
