Saigon Scooter City
Saigon or Ho-Chi-Minh City is a place for good food, nice people and... scooters. Never have seen a place which is made so much for scooters instead of cars. Even the parkings in the commercial centers have floors just made for scooters.
The traffic in the city is 90% by scooters. It’s impressive when a stream of some fifty to hundret scooters changes the direction while another stream of scooters cross in another direction - and like little ants everyone is flowing around the other.
In my two weeks stay I haven’t recognized a single accident. Totally different to Thailand, where the people take much more risks when driving, so you see motorcycle accidents regularly.
