Midnight Letters Prompt #15: The most unserious thing that really affected my mood
Hello fellow Midnight Owl 🦉,
Today, my mood changed over something very silly. I let a YouTube video my day.
I spent a lot working on this video. I spent hours filming and editing. I wanted everything to be perfect. I made a cool thumbnail and finally clicked "Upload." I was so excited! I thought everyone would love it.
The Problem:
I checked the views a few hours later .Only 3 views. And honesty, I think 3 of those views were just me checking my own page!
It sounds like a small thing, right? It's just a video. But it made me feel so sad and annoyed. I started thinking, "Is my work bad?" or "Why does nobody care ?" I went from feeling proud to feeling grumpy all afternoon.
It's funny because, in the real world, 3 views don't matter at all. But in my head , it felt like a huge fail. It is such an unserious thing to get upset about, but it really changed my mood.
Has this ever happened to you? You work hard on something and the Internet just stays quiet?
