๐ฌ#MESExperiments 49: Magnet Drop Tests Through a Copper Tube (Individual vs Attraction vs Repulsion
In #MESExperiments 49 I have combined the magnet drop tests by Paul Mueller in side-by-side view to better demonstrate that magnets glued in repulsion fall significantly faster than when placed in attraction. Magnets in repulsion also fall slower than individual magnets despite the weight being double and the fact that their attraction counterparts fall faster. This is truly ground-breaking findings here!

Timestamps
- First test: 5/8 by 3/8 magnets: 0:00
- Magnets in repulsion fell the slowest, then the individual magnet, then the magnets in attraction: 1:21
- Second test: 5/8 by 1/2 magnets: 1:30
- Same results as previous test: 2:41
- Third test: 5/8 by 5/8 magnets: 2:50
- Same results as previous tests: 4:14
- Table of results for all experiments: 4:26
- Magnets in repulsion fell down slowest.
- Taller magnets fall increasingly slower in repulsion even though their attraction counterparts fall increasingly faster.
- Magnets in repulsion have a very high gauss or magnetic flux density reading at the center.
