Proceso/Process

Empezando partiendo del boceto con un portaminas dibujando la figura lo más suave para cuando se vaya a colocar la acuarela, nose manche con el grafito.

Starting from the sketch with a mechanical pencil, drawing the figure as lightly as possible so that when the watercolor is applied, it does not get stained with graphite.

Teniendo terminado al personaje, empiezo a dar los tonos bases del traje del astronauta, desde el más claro, que serían las luces alrededor del traje, al mas oscuro para las sombras y las arrugas. Para después reforzar el color, con el tono más saturado de pintura generando un degradado. Debo admitir que está fue mi parte favorita del dibujo, al jugar un poco con los tonos y que estos se combinen dando un resultado homogéneo.

Once the character is finished, I begin to give the base tones of the astronaut's suit, from the lightest, which would be the lights around the suit, to the darkest for the shadows and wrinkles. Then I reinforce the color, with the most saturated tone of paint, creating a gradient. I must admit that this was my favorite part of the drawing, playing a little with the tones and having them combine to give a homogeneous result.
