Kasou!
This evening, my wife harvested some sweet potatoes from our garden. We planted them in a sandy area, leftover sand from our old construction work. Turns out, the sand didn’t go to waste. We call these sweet potatoes ‘kasou’ in our language. We love making fried kasou fritters —so good with coffee on a rainy day!
