I have always loved the school house rock commercials that used to play during Saturday morning cartoons when I was a child. I was so excited about 10 years ago when I came across the school house rock DVD at a store and I was able to share these short videos with my children. I'm surprised they stopped making them. When I watch cartoons with my children nowadays I never notice anything educational during the programming unless we are watching PBS. Someone figured out that you could make a toy first and then make a cartoon about the toy to drive sales. I guess toys about grammar, the legislative process, and multiplication are not hot sellers.
