Bannon pleads guilty
I wonder if this will change much if anything at all. I mean, it's not like the evidence wasn't there when he was first arrested, and it's not like his scam is hard to understand, but for some reason people still believed him.
Cracks in the wall
Not hard to imagine that people who follow Bannon, who listen to "The War Room" on X everyday would find themselves defending everything the man has ever said. After all Bannon is a master at his craft, at manipulation and this is probably the skill that landed him the job in Trump's firs term.
But part of the swindle, part of the charade or whatever you want to call it, was to say that all the charges against him had nothing to do with the truth and more to do with the deep state using lawfare against him because that is how "evil" operates. But now, he can't use this same defense without undermining Trump.
Piranhas
Back in 2010 I was visiting Brazil with one of my best friends. I knew the plan was to visit the amazon, to visit the Rio Negro, so I made it a point to read up on the dangers of said adventure.
One of the things I remember learning about that was fascinating to me was the behavior of the piranhas. How they move as a unit, like a hive if you will. Once they find food, a hurt animal usually, they attack with such aggression, such speed, it's both a spectacle and the textbook definition of carnage.
But the one "fun fact" I always think about, when I think about piranhas is what they do, when one of them is old or hurt. Yes, they become prey too, and get devoured into nothingness within seconds.
I think you can draw the parallels...
