Hello dear friends,
Today’s shoot is a colorful and completely different version of the photo series I’ve worked on before. I used a creative lighting setup, and my model was very excited about doing a session with a unique lighting style, so I did my best and got to work.

One of the techniques I used in this shoot was placing a snoot on my light source. This helped me focus the light and position it right behind the needle-shaped leaves of my plant. I placed my model exactly where the light and shadows would fall perfectly on the subject. The whole setup created a sense of isolation and darkness around the model, giving the photos a very specific mood.

Later on, I took a few more shots with a brick background, which I had actually never used in the studio before, and it turned out surprisingly well. Although I usually prefer cleaner and simpler backgrounds, this one worked beautifully.

In one of the shots, I placed the light source directly behind me to create a backlit effect, but in a way that the model would still catch some light. The image was captured with a Sony Alpha camera in 16-bit, which allowed the details and textures to be recorded cleanly with zero noise.

I always look for creativity in my lighting, and I love experimenting with new poses.
Thank you for staying with me until the end of this post. Until next time, goodbye.
